Getting Cialis or newly available generic Viagra, alongside other impotence medications, can help maintain erection health, especially for those who may have trouble getting or keeping an erection firm enough for sex.

Cialis is one of the most commonly used medicines to treat impotence, and while its effectiveness varies, it’s generally used for the first time during sex. Viagra is also used to treat erectile dysfunction in men, and is available as a cheaper option in some pharmacies.

The main side effect of Viagra is a decrease in the ability to get an erection during sexual activity. This means that one can experience an increased risk of having an erection problems.

How does Viagra work?

Viagra, like other impotence treatments, works by relaxing the blood vessels in the penis, allowing blood to flow into the penis when you get sexually excited.

This process helps in getting an erection, which in turn makes sex more enjoyable.

How long does Cialis last?

Depending on your age and your response to Viagra, the duration of sex can be as little as eight hours. This is a much longer window, and one can expect it to last up to 36 hours.

Do I need to take Cialis daily?

No. Taking Cialis daily or as needed will not help with your erection problems. It is not recommended to take it more than once daily.

To make sure you’re taking the right dose for you, it’s best to take it at the same time each day.

Why is Cialis so expensive?

Viagra is a relatively new medicine, so generic impotence treatments like Viagra are generally more expensive. Additionally, most pharmacies don’t sell Cialis with generic versions, so cost can also be a factor when buying one.

What is the cost of Viagra?

The cost of Viagra can vary depending on the pharmacy and whether or not you buy the medication directly from your healthcare provider. You’ll also need a prescription to buy Cialis and other impotence treatments.

At CVS we’ll price match you with a partner that’s happy to help you decide which one will deliver the best service.

If you have any questions about how much Viagra to ask can cost, please speak to your doctor.

Having a high cholesterol or high blood pressure, or a stroke, might seem like a good thing, but that doesn’t mean that high blood pressure doesn’t happen. In fact, high blood pressure can be a sign of other health problems. For example, if you have low blood pressure and are taking medications, such as a beta blocker medication, or your blood pressure is high, that could be a sign of a more serious condition.

There are many possible causes of high blood pressure, including:

  • High cholesterol or high blood pressure
  • High blood pressure
  • High blood pressure that’s been treated with certain other medications
  • High blood pressure that’s caused by
  • Liver disease
  • Diabetes
  • Obesity
  • Low testosterone

If you’re trying to lose weight, there are things you can do to help support your cholesterol levels.

The good news is that even if you don’t have high cholesterol or high blood pressure, you still can take medication to lower your cholesterol levels.

Interactions

A. Top Drug-Drug Interactions:

1.Nitrates (e.g., nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate): Cialis and nitrates both lower blood pressure. Taking them together can cause a significant and potentially life-threatening drop in blood pressure (hypotension), leading to dizziness, fainting, or even heart attack or stroke. It is contraindicated to use Cialis with nitrates or recreational "poppers" (amyl nitrites).

2.Alpha-blockers (e.g., prazosin, terazosin, tamsulosin): Both Cialis and alpha-blockers relax blood vessels, which can lead to excessive blood pressure reduction when used together. This may result in dizziness, fainting, or orthostatic hypotension (a sudden drop in blood pressure when standing). If needed, your doctor may adjust the dosage or recommend spacing the medications.

3.Other antihypertensive drugs (e.g., atenolol, propranolol, enalapril, lisinopril): Cialis can enhance the blood-pressure-lowering effects of these medications. While this interaction is usually less severe than with nitrates or alpha-blockers, it can still cause dizziness or fainting in sensitive individuals. Close monitoring of blood pressure is recommended.

Other Drug-Drug interactions:

  • Ketoconazole, itraconazole (used to manage fungal infection)
  • Protease inhibitors (used to manage HIV infection) Ex. ritonavir, lopinavir
  • Phenobarbital, phenytoin, carbamazepine (medicines used for fits)
  • Rifampicin, erythromycin, clarithromycin (medicines used for bacterial infections)
  • Other medicines used to improve blood flow to the penis (Ex. sildenafil)

B. Drug-Food Interactions:

Cialis (tadalafil) can interact with certain foods and beverages, potentially altering its effectiveness or increasing the risk of side effects. Here are the key drug-food interactions to be aware of:

  1. Grapefruit and Grapefruit Juice: Grapefruit can increase the levels of tadalafil in your blood by interfering with its metabolism. This may amplify side effects, such as headaches, dizziness, or low blood pressure. Avoid consuming grapefruit or grapefruit juice while taking Cialis.
  2. Alcohol: Drinking alcohol with Cialis can enhance the blood pressure-lowering effects of the medication, leading to symptoms like dizziness, lightheadedness, or fainting. Limiting alcohol intake is recommended while using Cialis.
  3. High-Fat Meals: While Cialis can be taken with or without food, consuming it with a high-fat meal may delay its onset of action. Opt for lighter meals if rapid effectiveness is needed.
  4. Caffeine: Though not a direct interaction, combining Cialis with high caffeine intake might worsen side effects like headaches or increase heart rate in sensitive individuals.

Sterile products are the most popular medications for treating erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. Cialis is a trusted and effective medication that is known to help treat erectile dysfunction (ED). Cialis is a type of medication that has been around since the late 1990s. It works by increasing blood flow to the penis, which helps men to achieve and maintain an erection when sexually stimulated. The active ingredient in Cialis is Tadalafil, which belongs to the class of drugs known as phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE 5) inhibitors. Tadalafil is also used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension, a condition in which high blood pressure in the lungs causes the blood vessels in your lungs to become enlarged. This increased blood flow helps to relax the blood vessels in the lungs, which increases blood supply to the lungs and improves oxygen delivery to the lungs. In addition to the erectile dysfunction treatment, Cialis can also be used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension, a condition where high blood pressure in the lungs can lead to heart failure. Cialis is a popular ED medication that has been available since it was approved by the FDA in 2003. I've tried a couple of different pills before and the ones I get are all working. I've tried the Viagra and Cialis, Cialis for a couple of weeks now, but they have both worked (I take them every other day and I don't know if they're working). I've taken the pill for two weeks now, but the Cialis is not working.

I'm wondering if anyone else has gone through a similar experience with Cialis and tried them before?

Thanks

I am not a doctor so I have to tell you the dose I take is the same as it is usually. I've taken the pill twice before to see if it works and also once a day to see if it works and not just when I'm at my regular time. So far so good.

Thanks for the info.

Greetings

I'm going to try Cialis as well as the Viagra. My doctor said I need to take it every other day and he said it should be taken about an hour before I start to feel the effects.

I'll be back with that after the week and I think I'll take both Cialis and Viagra.

Good luck with this.

I'll see you again soon.

I'm just looking for a bit more info. Thanks for all the information.

I've done some research and it sounds like the Cialis is working.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ive been on a dose of Cialis and it worked.

I'm going to try Cialis once a week, I think.

Thanks again for your time.

Thank you.

Youre welcome.

I've done some research on it and I've been taking the pill for two weeks now, and I'm still not sure if it's working.
